The classes at Centered Yoga draw on the strengths of our talented and inspired team of instructors and include influences from the hatha yoga traditions of vinyasa, anusara, ashtanga, and Iyengar.

An uplifting practice that combines elegant alignment principles and balanced action guided by the power of inner intention. This open level class focuses on refinement in each pose while introducing isometric muscle work and progressive sequencing to strengthen and connect the heart, mind and body.
Emphasis is placed on precise alignment with props used mindfully to achieve proper form. Deep asana holds and balance poses are explored in this class with inversions and deeper binds and twists presented in level 2/3.
Gentle stretching and breath work are combined to cultivate embodied movement, improve strength and mobility, and enhance well-being. This revitalizing and restorative class is open to all levels.

Yin yoga is a calming yet rejuvenating practice that gently stretches and lengthens the connective tissues to restore range of motion and liberate the mind and body from deeply held tension. Passive floor poses are held and combined with deep, focused breathing to achieve a sense of balance, harmony and inner peace. All levels are welcome to join in this meditative and restorative practice that is the natural complement to active yoga asana.
